Has anyone here ever been to Dallas?

My uncle and aunt used to live there. They hated it. They thought it was way too uptight and conservative.

I've seen other people call Dallas "boring," and I'm wondering if it truly is boring. I never really hear people talk about Dallas, despite the fact that it has a shitton of people and is part of a Metroplex.

    For once, or maybe twice, I was in my prime.
    I lived in Plano, a northern suburb of Dallas, and went to a private school smack in the middle of the city, for just shy of two years.

    It was a big city. Tons of big-city opportunities and shopping. The sort of place that is what you make of it, I think.

    Primer, one of my favorite movies ever, was filmed there.

    I was born in Dallas. I occasionally visit, en route to visiting an aunt in College Station. I'm glad I left

    I stopped there on a flight layover once, and even just the staff working in the food court and stuff were about as stereotypical Texans as it gets.
