Theseus was a nationalistic hero of Athens which as we all know was the ancient equivalent of America.
The ghost of Theseus supposedly fought in the Battle of Marathon.
Captain America was unfrozen from a block of ice, which is basically the same as coming back as a ghost.
Probably there's a battle or something in the movie.
Totally the same.
