  Jay Reatard is a fascinating case study.

  
  

  A man with a prolific amount of work, with recorded performances and interviews. And yet he died so unexpectedly that everybody assumed we had more time to interview him. So we have a finite yet large amount of information on him. Enough to get a good feeling about who he was 5 years after his death, but never everything.
