  We can do anything if we do it together.

  Thematically, Family Guy does give off the impression of being a budget-brand Simpsons, even if people tend to overstate how much Family Guy rips off The Simpsons.

  There was apparently a scene in the crossover where Peter admits that he's a ripoff of Homer, and then Fred Flintstone shows up.

  
  I was hoping this would keep going, with Jackie Gleeson in the Honeymooners showing up, and then the rest of the runtime would be devoted to that until they got to the role of Thersites in The Illiad
