Live Action Film is the greatest medium of all, and your favorite book or cartoon show or music album or stage play or breakfast cereal hasn't truly succeeded until it's been adapted to the screen by a major studio, and is the subject of extensive advertising blitz so you can't walk anywhere without seeing the dead, soulless eyes of some actor(s) dressed up as those characters you love so much, and everyone talks about it around the water cooler at work, and your dumb friends who never even tried to read the book no matter how much you told them it would blow their minds actually bother to watch the movie and say "Yeah, it was alright," and HAHA YES! SWEET SWEET VINDICATION AT LAST!

  We can do anything if we do it together.

  I watched the film when it came out and wasn't particularly excited by it, but it's possible that I was just too young for it.
