Maybe we could all stand to take some deep breaths. It's just people on the internet talking. Nobody has to be deformed or light themselves on fire due to internet talking.
which is more than adequate for my day to day life.
It's nothing to do with you. I don't care much about people in this line of work. My interaction with them is limited to "Oh, [person I like] retweeted this person, and I remember I don't think highly of this person for some reason. But I have no reason to believe [person I like] even reads this person regularly, and they might make good points in this particular article. So this is no concern of mine and I can put it out of my head."
Also applies to SlateStarCodex.
I don't pay attention to politics or philosophy except when it sluices off people I know who do, such as yourself, or Haven. I don't think that caring about politics is wrong, or that blogs are a bad place to get information. I just personally don't care that much, and am satisfied just knowing people who think about these things in more detail than I.
tl;dr plz chill dude, I don't want you to feel like this.

Sorry, I should have clarified and elaborated but JJBA pictures distracted me.
This is applicable to all sorts of obnoxious folks I want nothing to do with, much like the Red Pill types I used to read about. So my reaction is pretty much always "Okay, noted to ignore this person/ignore this person on [subject(s)] in the future." I read that first link back when you linked it, and saw Jane's commentary earlier.
Just, unless it overlaps with one of my overall interests - like finding an interesting politics person from someone making fun of Kriss - I try to avoid it, because it's not pleasurable.

This is hugely important and we need to do more of this here.

for not articulating why you dislike a blogger in a manner that I remember
