Thinking on it

I think I'm most annoyed when people address art as a "we" instead of an "I"

i might be annoyed by this, depending on the context

usually i'd just write it off as an opinion i don't share, but it does irritate me a bit when i think someone is presuming to know what i like/don't like

so basically the royal we as applied to fandom reaction?
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
"We" is appropriate when you're describing a device and not an opinion, but opinions should be an "I"-only thing. Like so: "You really think we're supposed to buy that, movie? I sure as hell didn't."
