They're doing a new Total Immersion Event and they're bringing back Samurai Jack, so now seems like a good time for a dedicated Toonami thread.

I haven't watched in a while because the Livetoons stream got taken down so I'm not sure where I could view it.

If anyone has any perfectly legal methods, I'd be appreciative of any PMs.

I'm sure there are ways, but I'm not aware of any.

The only shows on the block right now I'd want to watch anyway are Mitchiko + Hatchin, Kill La Kill (but I've already watched that) and One Piece (but I'm way behind and need to rewatch/catch up at some point).

As for the Total Immersion Event, the parts are being posted here as they air if you want to get in on it.

I will say, I think there's a certain segment of the fanbase that's gonna build this up in their minds and then be disappointed when it doesn't reach expectation.

Also the hints of new artstyle may not go over well either.

I'm hyped, but I predict a backlash is all.

At least a new artstyle here would likely be the result of Genndy's own decision, and not the needless "modernization" of the Powerpuff Girls designs in that revival nobody seems to be looking forward to.

Plus I could see them changing it for budget reasons. I think the old style was pretty expensive, yeah?

I'm a nostalgist myself (albeit not for Jack per se), but, well, we don't even know if there's going to be a new art style. It could just be something for the promo.

I would watch that.

Dunno how likely it is, I know some streaming services (eg. Netflix) have made it a priority to get their hands on things before Toonami can, and anything Gundam is bound to be a hot property, but here's hopin'.

Jason's mentioned that they'd have to work with Sunrise, but I think they can pull it off.

I don't know if it would be like the second coming of Gundam here, but if it pulled a million or so views I think it would be nice. They could also probably air 00, although that would be the second time it's aired here...or do a movie night with Unicorn or The Origin.

Shame that G-Reco probably has no chance on there though. At least I doubt it. And I don't want AGE to get released here since I've heard bad things about it.

People dig mecha. I think it could pull a sizable viewer base if they managed to snag it.

Hell Space Dandy did pretty well and that's way more conceptually niche.

Space Dandy was awesome and I watched about 4 episodes of it when it was airing on there via the app.

I missed the musical episode but the girl with the sprout growing out of her head + coke bottle glasses is very cute looking. Also there's like 2 Gundam references in the show, one is a mech that looks like Zeta Gundam in the racing episode and the other is that useless machine from 0079 that Amuro's dad made.
