of course it is super expensive and collectable and shit because i guess death grips is the official band of pitchfork types who take it too seriously because they think it's deep because polyrhythms and marching band samples and 90s dnb synth noises are deep or something
Cassette version, lol. yeah The Money Store is a pretty technically competent drawing, I like that part. Just mildly disturbing for my milquetoast self.
Having Death Grips cut into one's chest does not sound like fun to me. (it could be a tattoo??)
No no, just amused that someone would actually make a cassette these days. It's like record-collecting without the audio-quality excuse.
are you kidding people love cassettes
I love cassettes, I think they're cool.
They're less expensive than vinyl and still give you the satisfaction of having a physical object.
Lots of Bandcamp acts produce cassettes because they're extremely cheap to press.
Off the top of my head Lil Ugly Mane's Mista Thug Isolation and Luxury Elite & St. Pepsi's Late Night Delight are two albums you can buy off of bandcamp in cassette format.
all the tapes I have are old though. I have Yello's debut album (the one without "Oh Yeah" on it), a compilation of faux-Hawaiian music from an old radio show, a Doors bootleg, and some other stuff.
i switched to getting everything in flac a while back and then at one point i realized that most of my memory was being taken up by my music library ^_^;
actually i thought even CDs were on the way out at this point, except as a promotional thing to sell at live gigs

CDs are arguably going to be more out than cassettes and records in a few years.
There's nothing particularly special about them. It's like collecting DATs or minidisks.
but then also there is other stuff im gonna get, zines and pins and band shirts and stuff because i can buy band shirts now cuz im at a weight im comfortable with yaaaaaaaay
that is caused by pitchfork peeps being lame it's not a problem with the format
Well, I wouldn't imagine vinyls are exceptionally valuable in and of themselves either. So long as cassettes are some novelty thing they're gonna still be expensive, no?

FLAC files are pretty big. I have lots of local storage though it is reasonably demanding on my ancient laptop. Partially Mountain Lion's fault, though. :\
while I'm thinking about it can peeps listen to Lottery Loops and tell me if it's just me that thinks the drums sound weird
they sounded fine in FL but when I exported them the actual MP3 sounded strange, and I sampled those from a track from a Dusty Fingers comp so it's not like I was sampling something super hi-fi.

really?
disclaimer that idk what i'm talking about but i find it kind of hard to picture this happening
i have a CD collection, i like how they're more durable than vinyl (i am actually terrified about handling old vinyls) and don't deteriorate at the rate cassettes do
it's the album Late Night Delight by Luxury Elite & Saint Pepsi. afaik the "Mack The Knife" parody they used for those commercials isn't sampled anywhere on there. It's a vaporwave album. Same one "Enjoy Yourself" is from.

but maybe i'm a sucker
I might myself be wrong I just don't think there's anything interesting about CDs and as people backing up their data becomes more common I think you'll see people not using CDs as much anymore.
Hachimitsu private academy was an elite all-girls boarding highschool known for its strict rules. The school recently turned co-ed and has started by admitting five boys. There are over thousand female students in the academy, which at first seemed exciting to the boys but none of the female students want to talk to them. Which is for good reason as unbeknownst to the five, the underground student council has forbidden female students to associate with the boys.
I wouldn't mind having a vinyl collection if I'm ever in the position of having enough money to buy a decent record player. I don't get the appeal of downloading and listening to vinyl rips on the computer, though.
no hold on i'm not just mentioning them for the sake of talking about payphones hear me out
the old GPO and Post Office kiosks are cassettes and vinyl in this analogy
they're going to stick around for a while, they're iconic, when BT wants to withdraw funding for a K6 kiosk very often local communities step up to fund it
K8s didn't used to have this protection, but then people noticed they were disappearing fast and there was a big scheme to save them because they are an award-winning art deco design, so again, it's about history and nostalgia
the KX series, though, they were designed to be functional and unobtrusive
for the moment there are still a fair few of them about, but i just don't see any big save-the-KXs movement gaining any traction
most people think of them, if they think of them at all, as ugly things that replaced the more appealing red kiosks

admittedly, mostly i just find it kind of embarrassing if i'm watching something with my brother or my parents are about and something ecchi happens in what's ostensibly not an ecchi series

plus they run down and get more distorted with time so that's way cooler than vinyl
* something from vangelis
* the dark side of the moon
* this rando local comedy act from the 70s
they make me feel kinda nostalgic
Well, I would figure damage over time would be a bad thing. :v Also, the cheapness is offset by the collectable thing, innit. ( )
I like getting physical stuff too, of course. I just usually do FLAC stuff when it comes to simply Getting Music.

well im buying tickets to see vash again

thank
the art does look good but the premise sounds generic
i'll just look at this guy's other work.
edit: oops these all suck. the Blues one looks cool but it got discontinued. Fucking hell.
i feel like this art would work well with horror, and i don't mean that pejoratively
it pretends to be general entertainment, but obviously wants to be porn
it's neither one nor the other
good night
this meme started an entertaining fad
