I am guessing they're fudging things a bit because most of the songs people remember from that era didn't happen between 1957 and 1964...Todd said once that the era between Elvis getting drafted and the Beatles was chock-full of cheese.

Man is a most complex simple creature: see what he weaves, and how base his reasons for doing so.
The problem with explaining that you can be two things in different percentages (say, gendered pulses of energy), is that there's always some jackass who wants to be 100% whatever.
They're the sort of person who would drink 100% alcohol, if they could get it. And then they'd die.
But, then again, the 97 jazz are remembered as being a fantastic team.
You know, if I could choose anyone else to go against the bulls in -97, it would be the Houston Rockets. They were a dang good team, and if Stockton hadn't made a miracle shot, they'd have gone to the finals instead of the Utah Jazz.
They deserved the chance as much as the Jazz did.
So, yeah, that last-second loss to the Jazz was as heartbreaking to the Rockets as the last-second loss to the Bulls was for the Jazz.
At least the Rockets have won the finals... Twice.

Ouch. I'm so sorry, Anonus.
Which is worse? To have a chance and have it denied you at the last instant, or to be denied the chance from the beginning.
