One performance in particular became notorious; Piano Activities by Philip Corner.
The score – which asks for any number of performers to, among other things, "play", "pluck or tap", "scratch or rub", "drop objects" on, "act on strings with", "strike soundboard, pins, lid or drag various kinds of objects across them" and "act in any way on underside of piano"[20] – resulted in the total destruction of a piano when performed by Maciunas, Higgins and others at Wiesbaden. The performance was considered scandalous enough to be shown on German television four times, with the introduction "The lunatics have escaped!"[21]
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
idk if i'd say it's off, i feel that actors should have leeway in their roles playing characters that were played by others earlier.
even if they're "just" voice acting
If anything, I feel like one of the traps voice actors fall into is trying too closely to imitate the "original" voice of a character instead of giving it their own take
tbh Knossos is full of "reconstructions" done by some dictatorial victorian who was like 'yeah we can just build over these ancient ruins including a load of completely conjectural upper floors there is no evidence for but w/e it looks pretty and all the tourists come to see it'
i preferred going to tiny village museums with giant flashing signs that say 'DEMOCRACY' on the outside and when you go inside its just someones house with tons of tons of rusty chandeliers and ancient kitchen equippment and Nazi paraphernalia ftw

5 days till October
Anyone got ideas for their Halloween usernames yet? I think we're doing that again this year.

I think I rarely go through an entire album without wanting to skip stuff. It can happen with classical multi-movement pieces (not really 'albums' per se), but even on my favorite album, Melodic Hard Cure, I just don't much like track 4. Or some of the later tracks. It just so also happens to have like, 8 tracks (out of 16) I really like, including several of my favorite tracks of all time.
It's not a hard and fast rule either, like I consider Bazooka Tooth a great album even though it has my least favorite Aesop Rock song ("Cook it Up") on it
This is unquestionably the result of just throwing two songs in a blender, but the levelling on this is really weird. The low-end is enormous to the detriment of everything else.

I'm thinking about how Tom Kenny's Bullwinkle sounds a lot like Heffer
I do have confidence in Tom Kenny's ability to do the character well, given that he tends to play a lot of simpletons
Half deserved it because I ain’t memorized for shit, but also we haven’t, like, tried the first act at ALL in rehearsals save for our memorization deadlines.
At any rate I let everyone down and I feel shitty about it.

Got Wendy's instead :\
Cam'Ron is one of those rappers with no great albums but quite a few great songs.
I can hardly wait

I have no idea how to prove X is infinitesimal, and I'm running out of time
Great albums have something extra on top of that.
Cam'ron's albums are very scattershot in my experience.

but it's also got this on it
* every song is engaging in it's own way (*this rule is the most flexible*)
* played together all the songs function as a greater whole
* it is enjoyable when listened to both inattentively and attentively
That is probably the only mashup I will ever make.
