There was this really weird thing where towards the end of the project, some feedback came from EA saying the game wasn’t ‘M enough’. We weren’t ‘fulfilling the potential’ of our M rating. So they were like: ‘Can you make it more fucked up? Can you put more sex and violence into it?’ Which is such a strange position to be in as it’s normally the other way around. And we resisted.

They really don't make that claim at any point though. They just outline some very basic common sense stuff, like "if you vote on a worse health care system, you shouldn't be able to keep your comfortable congressional health care plan."

I know I'm adding fuel to the fire, but I've seen quite a bit of Extra Credits, and it's pretty level-headed (the guys that write it are notididot Youtueb complemnetors). That said, I've also watched all of Crash Course World History, and I'm not sure they could top that.
