    i haven't talked to anyone yet ._.

Are you afraid or are there other reasons? You've been meaning to for months, I know. They are not there to judge you. They are there to help you. No one is going to tell you that you don't have a gender issue.

    wow
  • I've discovered something recently.

I really don't care for libertarianism and its assumption that everyone is 100% in control of their choices 100% of the time.

Libertarian is what people too conservative for the Republican party call themselves in this country. Pay it no mind.

lol there are people too conservative for the Republican party? I thought libertarian was a weird mix of Randian economics and minimal regulation on anything.
  • I mean

that's what it's supposed to be, but in practice it's usually what I said.

Do typical libertarians express the view that homosexuality is a disease that needs to be cured?
  • The specific reasoning varies but in my experience most of them do not approve of homosexuality.
  • Honestly, I'm just not fond of the view that corporations like McDonalds should be able to get away with what they do because people buy it even though they know it isn't healthy.

As it would require such a massive and unrealistic change in public psychology to get people to stop eating unhealthy foods and to put forth the unreasonable amount of effort now required to eat healthily that agency should fall on the companies who sell unhealthy foods.

America's fault for being too dumb to look at the ingredients list.

Healthy food is easily available and unhealthy food is not disguised as healthy food.
  • Naney would absolutely hate this tape.

Not really. Most health food that isn't rebranded junk is pretty expensive.

I used to work at a grocery store, trust me on this one. You're not getting truly healthy anything unless you can afford to pay $12 for a half-loaf of bread.
  • Miko said:

unfortunately this is less true than you'd think it would be

hmm okay middle class privilege talking sorry. I get fruits and vegetables and nice stuff when I grocery shop. (and a little junk :p )

so ummmmm make healthy food cheaper, or like make better regulations on how much crap you can sell in food

Health classes are mandatory. Everyone "knows" this food is unhealthy. Yet people still eat it.

There's a problem there, and it's not entirely the consumer.

I think that consumer mindlessness is what allows evil giants to get eviller and gianter, sometimes.

Hi Where Are The Burger :DD

oh fug amerikan dourist :DDDD quik pekka fetch the modorized cart :D

Like McDonald's does not have a monopoly and there are lots of fast food places with better options.
  • It doesn't help that the corporations target poor people and deliberately obscure the actual unhealthiness of their products.
  • Whether or not they have a monopoly is kind of dependent on where you live and how easy it is for you to get to other places.

Like around here my food options are McDonald's, Burger King, and one of several local pizza places. There's also a Subway, which is not nearly as healthy as people think it is.
  • anyway why are we talking about this again?

There are warning on cigarettes, and most people are aware of how bad for you cigarettes are for you.  People still buy them.  People still drink alcohol, even though they know what it does.

Heck, people like Anonus want to legalize stuff like Marijuana.

So, apparently, people have the right to hurt themselves.  There's this philosophy that "it doesn't matter what I do, what I say, who I sleep with, so long as I do not hurt anybody else".
  • aren't you supposed to be on hiatus or something.
  • More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
Marijuana is better than alcohol but my love is for alcohol.
  • In turn making actual healthy products really hard to find. They're making health a privilege, and that's not okay.

People still breathe oxigen, despite it slowly killing you

Considering that Anonus is a Colorado voter, he technically did legalize marijuana. :P

Fast food is unhealthy, everyone knows that. :D
  • also you can get away with eating almost anything as long as you exercise often and take the right vitamin supplements, but people generally don't have time for or don't want to do the former and lack the money for the latter.
  • More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
Starve yourself and do 500 pushups a day.
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
    Miko what's got into you
  • Fast food is unhealthy, everyone knows that. :D
And yet they still eat it. Smoking is unhealthy, and better education led to, y'know, less people smoking.

This hasn't happened with fast food. And that's a problem. A problem that doesn't just rest on the consumer's shoulders.
  • The sadness will last forever.
    food ish satan
  • I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
Moderation, Kexruct. It's one thing to eat McDonald's every day, another to eat it once a week or less.
