I misread that as "lyrics were kinda meth tho" and now I'm trying to imagine what that would be like
it kind of amazes me that there is a contingent that seems to genuinely think that Future is some kind of boundary-pushing genius/ironic, Beck-like virtuoso as opposed to just a guy who can't sing very well.

So because my laptop once again refuses to connect to the family wi-fi (despite TWC having just installed a brand-new router), I'm reduced to borrowing my parents' little netbook dealy.

Except there are large other large cities, like Seattle, Dallas and Texas and Houston (though "Haha Texas" but to each their own, naturally), Los Angeles and Sacramento and Long Beach, Boston, Boise, and Portland, just to name some. All of the big cities get some measure of fame and "notice" within fictional works — Seattle's tendency to be the setting for dark and gloomy technological works come to mind — as expected; though New York's tendency to be associated with the glamor and fame, while quite popular, is not at all exclusive to New York. Going off of what Justice said, "settling" for "somewhere smaller/anything less than the best" is totally an option if you don't even know if New York is the place for you, or if other places happen to mesh more with you. For example, would you rather live in Portland, Oregon (or another liberal center, but Portland comes to mind easily), or a large city in the Deep South?
But I feel like picking a city that suits me is taking the loser's way out. It seems like I should aim for the highest--New York is the biggest and most culturally significant US city--and adapt to it, instead of the other way around.
Honestly, a big part of it is that New York seems unique and I want to be able to experience life there, even if it's not for very long.

you just need good headphones that can deliver on the subs and you will get most everything on most tracks that aren't by serious soundsystem freaks
like you will miss out on a lot of the physical all-consuming crushing helpless sensation you would get from something like Mala in a live setting, but with something like Zedd or whatnot you should be fine

I believe this was supposed to be a response to what I said in the other thread.
and then she will return to the lake, where she (as the strongest) will guard it from all intruders until next year, when Strongest Day will be upon us again.
like i got my ath m50s which are pretty good and they do justice to almost anything i throw at them but they fall short once you go under 30ish HZ or so so tunes like this
you get this thing where you can hear the sub but it doesn't really represent it properly
but most tunes don't have bass that low, and ones that do are not meant with home consumption in mind
I remember you saying you liked those Audio-Technicas.
I might have to get them later on when I am employed and have monies. I'd trade my Beats for them, except I'm fairly sure doing so would be labeled as heresy by my folks.
that reminds me i listened to some herbie hancock on a pair of the skullcandy hesh 2s in the store today and they actually handled them pretty well, prolly the best 50 dollar headphone i've heard
I'm going to bed in like an hour and a half I think. It's been an overall shitty day for me so if you could make the next hour and a half on thus thread reasonably negativity-free I'd really appreciate that.

To be fair, we sell them in the student store, so you can technically get them for free if you're so inclined.
