Naw I'm fine, thanks though. I am more bummed out about not enjoying The Money Store anywhere near as much as Exmilitary. :/
It is an extremely different album in many respects. It is far more uniform in tone, meaning that even when the tracks are very strong (and I think that even the weakest on that album are pretty solid) they blur into one another much more easily than on Ex-Military, which is unfortunate.
I just did not find any of it engaging or interesting in the slightest. Like, i could not get myself to sit through a single track. even the ones that clocked in under three minutes

I find that surprising. Then again, it took me months to really warm to Death Grips in general and that album in particular, so I don't know.
^^ It's pretty interesting, actually; I'm listening to it now. Dead End Hip-Hop's whole schtick is basically four guys in a room arguing about rap albums with the occasional guest. In this case, Anthony Fantano is said guest. It's amusing to hear people bounce off each other sometimes.
I think she said he was nice, just unpleasant to look at. Which is to be expected from the college girl perspective, I suppose.
Either way, I can't go two days without quoting "Don't believe me, jewatch" from All Gold Everything by him so yeah. I dunno why I like that line so much.
because punchlines are fun to quote (hence the term "quotable"). That said if you really like punchlines get Run The Jewels. It's free. You might need a lyric sheet if you're not used to El-P though.
also many rappers are unattractive. Most perhaps, even.
I'll have to listen to it, then, I remember you saying good things.
And I've become accustomed to browsing RapGenius whilst listening to various albums anyway, the most recent being Born Sinner. So I'll probably end up doing that with it.

just don't trust their interpretations. They're almost always wrong.
More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
Patchouli and her library, full of bullet cancelling and pixel-precise streaming and hitbox shenanigans up the wazoo; naturally this means things touch my hitbox sometimes and I lose 15 minutes of gameplay and have to start over. Lunatic requires constant risk for low rewards, but every single reward is useful in NOT GETTING MY FACE BLOWN OFF on the way to Remilia.
every time i watch a fantano review, yknow, the guy clearly listens to his music, hes bald, yeah, but i get this unshakeable sense that he doesnt know what the fuck he's on about.
like i remember listening to his review of noctourniquet because i was like 'who the fuck is this bald guy' and he just warbled on about how its got really short songs and a lot of synths and i was like 'seriously any fuck could have told me that'

That seems mainly to be for the benefit of those who have not heard the album in question. I get why he does it, but I agree that it's pretty redundant if one has already heard an album and simply wants to hear a second opinion.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
heres a celebratory song from my new favourite genre, which is ironic hip hop made by Swedish 15-year-olds with videos that are just huge conglomerations of 90s visual effects (this seems to be a definite genre emerging)

well, it's new, and it rolled out on Crunchyroll a few days ago for premium users.
so that does make some sense.
I watched someone play it and it looks challenging. :)

bleh, youtube critics.
I just hope they liked it because if they didn't they're wrong.
Have you heard the album yet?

the only music critic I like enough to know by name is Big Ghost, and that's only because he's funny.

I'm slowly getting better at spelling 'schadenfreude'.

what you do with your time is your business.
gewd.
Man, we're fresh off the débuts of Dingdang Roper and Free!, not to mention Shingeki no Kumquat...
and Attack on Titan
unless that's what the third one is.
it's been a good season for anime. Yuyushiki wasn't popular but it's the best schoolgirl anime I've seen in a long time.
this needs appreciation.
or Shingeki no Kumquat, in my case. I'm actually considering watching them just to see what the fuss is about. Maybe.

However, the singer's two octave range is much higher than my two octave range. He's singing with the sopranos while I'm stuck in the bass clef.
