Not at all. It is difficult to explain, but I think that part of Odradek's response came from the fact that the statement struck him as out of character.
All things considered, though, I sincerely doubt that Norn has joined the Cult of Yudkowsky.
Samuel L. Jackson may be cool, but he is not a good actor
OBJECTION
I can see where he's coming from. Samuel L. Jackson is beloved by many for being Samuel L. Jackson. People see his movies to see Samuel L. Jackson be Samuel L. Jackson, not to see him be some other, lesser being. Why do you think that everybody talks about him in Avengers rather than his performance in Django (which was not a standard SLJ role)?

He was fantastic in Pulp Fiction and quite good in The Avengers.
He was fantastic in those two movies because both of those roles allowed Samuel L Jackson to be Samuel L Jackson.
Heck, Ultimate Nick Fury (most of the stuff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes from the Ultimate Universe) was originally designed to be Samuel Jackson.
And if it's not Jules Winnifred or Nick Fury that catches people's eyes, it's Mace Windu, which was written for Samuel Jackson, right down to the purple blade.
The point is that SLJ doesn't need to act in order to be listed as an actor in a movie. He can just act like himself, and that's that. That's not to say that he can't act; just that he usually doesn't.
It's just that we can't really say for sure whether or not Samuel L Jackson is a bad actor since, despite seeing him in Pulp Fiction and a bit of Avengers, we've never actually seen him act. It's just Samuel L Jackson being Samuel L Jackson in different costumes. And I'm okay with that. And so is most of America's film audience.
I think I have, like, a triumvirate of series that are really important to me. Kingdom Hearts, Zelda, and The Elder Scrolls. Maybe I'll start off by writing about those.
I'm hoping I can eventually branch out to writing about stuff like sexism in gaming because I'd rather attempt what Anita Sarkeesian did than simply whine about her on the internet. And because, believe it or not, those kinds of issues are important to me.
Kex, we both know that the first post should be why you love Legend of Zelda: OOT
I was actually thinking I'd do a three parter- my first article would be about Kingdom Hearts, second would be about The Elder Scrolls, and the third would be about Zelda. I don't think I could ever do an article about an individual game in the series simply because when it comes to Zelda I care more about the series than the individual games. Also, sad to say, but I didn't really get much out of OoT.
Nah, not really. Well, it depends on who you ask. This is just my informal observations, but as a whole, opinions on Nornagest seemed to to be split between "He could be a bit of a condescending ass at times, but he also could be very intelligent and informative when he was in the mood, though he wasn't really found of overt silliness" and "He was a condescending ass".
I got along with the guy fine, but I talked to him a grand total of 3 times before he left, so you know, grain of salt and all that.

so far the government is spying on us and Loki sounds like a standup comedian.

Talk a little bit about a game you really like and what makes it good?
