things that bother you never bother me, I'm so happy and fine (haha!)
living in the sunlight, loving in the moonlight, having a wonderful time
I could understand using them for the sake of convenience, but having to turn them in as a large part of the grade seems a little silly.
Oh, you poor thing.
It's supposed to force you to master memorization techniques and/or make sure that you're doing the work instead of paying off (the smart kids/Chilean immigrants/Grandpappy McDoo/What have you) to do it for you. This is done despite the two inherent truths of education:
Not everyone will benefit from a single method of memorization
If a student has already decided to cheat, the only way to stop them is to convince them. No amount of phone-banning or spread-out seating or work-checking will stop them.

This is an interesting setup: Two roads meet a close angle right at the entrance to a parking lot. The shopping center seem mostly empty, but if there was more traffic going in and out of them, this intersection could turn nasty real fast.

I had assumed it was just one of those little decorative pillars developers like to use at the entrances to residential subdivisions, though I suppose it could very well have been part of a wall or gate.

I wonder how effective they are...the sign itself doesn't require drivers to stop (that's only required if there's actually a pedestrian in the crosswalk), so it seems like the kind of thing many drivers would tend to ignore. :\
So the other day I mentioned italics pens in class and my teacher laughed at me because she doesn’t think they exist. I had forgotten about this until yesterday, when she made a snide comment about it. For this reason I made an MLA style essay consisting of only “Italics pens exist” followed by sources that took about two minutes of Googling to find.

Hee hee, Chancery
I used to know how to write like that, though I was never very good at it

So my mom finally had someone out here to replace the faulty cable box.
Which is nice and all, except now all my DVR recordings (including the first airing of "Hurricane Fluttershy") are gone. :\
There is abundant evidence of a major high level conspiracy in the assassination of my husband, Martin Luther King, Jr. And the civil court's unanimous verdict has validated our belief. I wholeheartedly applaud the verdict of the jury and I feel that justice has been well served in their deliberations. This verdict is not only a great victory for my family, but also a great victory for America. It is a great victory for truth itself. It is important to know that this was a SWIFT verdict, delivered after about an hour of jury deliberation. The jury was clearly convinced by the extensive evidence that was presented during the trial that, in addition to Mr. Jowers, the conspiracy of the Mafia, local, state and federal government agencies, were deeply involved in the assassination of my husband. The jury also affirmed overwhelming evidence that identified someone else, not James Earl Ray, as the shooter, and that Mr. Ray was set up to take the blame. I want to make it clear that my family has no interest in retribution. Instead, our sole concern has been that the full truth of the assassination has been revealed and adjudicated in a court of law… My husband once said, "The moral arc of the universe is long, but it bends toward justice." To-day, almost 32 years after my husband and the father of my four children was assassinated, I feel that the jury's verdict clearly affirms this principle. With this faith, we can begin the 21st century and the new millennium with a new spirit of hope and healing.

Alright, I have to stop using that as a sympathetic phrase. This keeps happening too much.
And it's not your fault for not catching it, Kex.
Your problem is you're legitimately nice on a sarcastic Internet.
well, as good as it can get toward new, but I'm satisfied
and the AT&T logo was excised from it too! :)
No, i didn't mean to suggest that was a bad thing.

Is he Scooby Doo's obligatory Scottish ancestor?
I'm pretty sure Scooby Doo has a relative on every continent, so...maybe???
I slept all day.
Hello all.
