PM:TTYD doesn't feel very Rare-ish to me

Rare's collectathons were basically Super Mario 64 but deeper

They also weren't as platformy (none of the characters could wall jump [unless Conker can, I don't know] and it took until Banjo-Tooie for Banjo to even be able to hang off of ledges, for instance)

Psychonauts kind of is, but is much more platforming-heavy than Rare's games

south of Lubbock here is a little town called Post, Texas, about 40 miles southeast of here. I'll let Wikipedia do the 'splainin:

Post is located on the edge of the caprock escarpment of the Llano Estacado, the southeastern edge of the Great Plains. It is at the crossroads of U.S. Routes 84 and 380. Post was originally founded in 1907 as "Post City" as a utopian colonizing venture of Charles William (C. W.) Post, the breakfast cereal manufacturer. Post devised the community as a model town.

And it's actually a pretty little town that hasn't been invaded and ruined by a Wal-Mart yet. Everything there is still mom-and-pop and old-timey, so maybe Post succeeded with his utopian ideal.
