I read Anthem by Ayn Rand last year as part of our English class.
It was... blah. Main character was a bit of a Mary Sue and there wasn't much, if any, depth given to his love interest. I guess that wasn't the point but still.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022

What sort of jacked-up ass-backwards school curriculum are you attending that makes you read Ayn Rand
^I'm not a fan of either, but I feel that Austen has more literary value and interest than Rand. My issue is that she really should have stuck with political essays because that's all her books were. Hell, go for a dialog type thing, she can't make an interesting book.
Of course, they might have wanted more contemporary authors.
Doctor Who reference in Pokemon B2W2? Headcanon accepted.
Austen's writing style is nothing short of incredible. I've read Northanger Abbey and can tell you it's about an Abbey or some shit, but I can go on and on about how witty and articulate her writing is. As old as her stuff is, her wit had me cracking up laughing in places. I can see why she's considered so important as an author.
My regular computer can't hold a charge. I'm hoping we can get it fixed enough so I can at the very least transfer my stuff onto a small data disk so I can keep it for a new computer.(which I need anyway)
I feel like engaging Morbid_Forest mode and complaining about my parental figure. T_T There is a reason why I hide in my bedroom and stay quiet and prefer to do things at night instead of during the day. It is because this maximizes my being left alone.

Roy Orbison was exactly this way for the latter half of his life. He just wanted to be left alone, for the most part.

:/ I know exactly that because I did that a lot in high school. If you need to talk my inbox is open.
Considering the high production costs, Shenmue experienced disappointing sales. According to IGN, the game, which cost an unprecedented $70 million to make,[40] would have had to be purchased twice by every single Dreamcast owner in order for Sega to turn a profit.
Ouch. That's a real pity.
I like when games pay attention to detail and aim for immersion and exploration.

I did not care for it. But YMMV
Dear God, they're spreading.
Strange but true
Just as Nathaniel Hawthorne is an important writer.
BURN.

Snappy, aggressive, twitchy, worried more than usual, showing no restraint with poor taste...
And now my whole body twitched and attempted to bash my head in for the second time in a year
I'm starting to think that weird mood = Stay away from sharp things in case I suddenly Tourettes
Something in the air, perhaps...
Wait that can?
Explains why my laptop's battery lasts only half as long as it's supposed to.

I might've had Shenmue, the Dreamcast was our first console and we basically had every game for it before my stepdad sold it at a yardsale.
They've made games for it as recently as last year. Which I am astounded by.
