The Schumacher films are campy fer sure, but sometimes I see the Burton ones referred to that way too. Which seems strange, since at the time everybody seemed to be stunned by how DARK and FAMILY-UNFRIENDLY they were.
The Burton movies are pretty darn campy in a good way. They're dark, they have hammy acting and outrageous scenarios, but they don't cross that line into irritating and obnoxious that the Schumacher movies do.
A complete subculture has been spawned by these books, taking the philosophy of these books and applying them to their daily lives. This philosophy, known as the Gorean lifestyle, does not revolve around the master/slave relationship, although it certainly can incorporate it. There is some debate between practitioners of traditional BDSM and Gorean S&M about the validity and safety of the other's practices, most of it revolving around the fact that safewords are not mandatory.
I require more desks so I may headdesk an appropriate number of times per second in response to reading this passage.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
FM: Since when? I have to wonder what kind of sample they used.
Granted, I might be a little biased, but I'm sure it takes me at least half an hour to fall asleep at night even with a sleep aid.

Speaking of taking an hour to fall asleep, I should probably get started on that. Good night, everyone.

That's a good point, actually, I never really thought of you as "absurdly kinky" so much as "likes talking about kinkiness."
Ye gods, this Internet connection is awful. Anyway, just figured I'd drop in for a bit and see if I can actually talk here unlike last time when the computer went nucking futs about me trying to post one message.

What would really be nice is if there were a way to manually switch over to the mobile site; as it is it seems the only way to get there is if Vanilla interprets your user agent as being that of a mobile browser.

The version of this song that was used for Watchmen was a remix, though.

But can easily be an hour or more.
Though lately not so much at all, thinking back.
(*Happy dance*)
I guess that's a bad thing to be?
This makes "Gor" sound like some kind of eldritch horror.
That'd be a good name for an eldritch horror, actually. Very simple and primal.
But anyway I've been reading about something else since I posted that. Stupidity does not amuse me, misogyny even less so.
But I haven't noticed you talking about that lately, anyway.
But I expect she's just off doing other things. Or maybe she got bored and left. It might not have anything to do with anything you said.
Also, gotta get to bed
