I don't know, I think if anything it would be to McDonald's advantage to promote exercise among children. It would help to counteract the public image of them as a huge contributor to childhood obesity.

That's pretty restricted to their advertising (e.g. their children's-geared advertising tends to show children being physically active and them relaxing with Ronald McDonald) and them adding healthier choices to their menu after Super Size Me sent them into a PR frenzy.

I always thought it was funny that they actually removed Super Size from the menu after that movie came out.'
...I vaguely remember reading an article several years ago about McDonald's considering selling non-food merchandise in their stores. The article, at one point, quoted a mother who disliked the idea because McDonald's was the one place where she could take her son where he wouldn't constantly be asking her to buy him stuff!
Even then I thought "this woman is a terrible parent".

...one of the TVs in the McDonald's nearest the house (which opened around 2007-2008 and has always had the "eyebrow"/"swoosh" design) is always tuned to Fox News.

...I don't think the McDonald's nearest our house even has TVs.
It always struck me as a strangely small McDonald's for the suburban area it's in. Prior to its remodel it had exactly the same layout/decor as one on US 62 outside Johnstown, where I ate with a teacher and a couple other students after a spelling bee in middle school.
I remember there was a man at another table who was carrying on a conversation with himself. After he left, I began rambling about anything and everything that entered my mind, including the typing class I was taking at the time.

We didn't know. He was there for a good 10 minutes, at least, and one of the boys who was with us had to try very hard to keep himself from breaking into laughter.

I don't remember. I was a little freaked out so I just tried to ignore him.

You ask that as if I know what either of those things are. :P
Both were exclusive to Fox stations (the former was commissioned by WFXT in Boston upon the launch of their news department in 1996, and the latter by KDFW in 1997 upon transitioning into the standard Fox O&O logo conventions), and both have been retired.

I'm listening to a sampler of Stephen Arnold Music's retired Fusion package.
...some of it always struck me as Overture with more Fox Attitude™. Now I know it got some of Horizon mixed in there, and was probably retired for sounding too much like them and a proto-Extreme (which was, like Fusion, commissioned by a Fox station, but unlike it is not exclusive to them.), in addition to not selling very well.

You know it always sorta bugged me that the businesses out at "Taylor Square" give their addresses as Taylor Road Extension, but the street signs all say Taylor Road SW.
...I imagine it's because some numbers would be repeated if the addresses were along Taylor Road SW.

Oh god, I haven't watched The Fairly OddParents in years...

That's ok, I'm becoming obsessed with retail again.

Because a forum run by Discord would be the best ever or something.
He would lock completely benign threads for violating made-up rules and not enforce half the ones that actually exist and he would ban people for being boring.

...Well, that's a problem, you see, because I don't actually have the screencaps. I just copy-paste them into GIMP, make my avatars, and then save those.
I did keep this though. In fact, part of the reason I use that one on so many other sites is that it's one of a handful that I have full-size copies of.

so anyway First on FOX > Outlaw News...?
