Copyright notices in software

They used to have the proper range of years, like © 1985-2001 for Windows XP.

Now most products only put the year of the latest release, like © 2015 for Windows 10.

I dunno why, but this really bugs me. It feels incomplete somehow. :|

    It's kind of funny to be on the other side of this, where QA keeps finding random-ass places in the product that haven't updated the copyright year.
