Yeah…granted, there are some people who don’t have a choice. If you’re running a warming center for the homeless, you don’t really have the option to just not do that today.

My employer’s policy is that, when there’s a level 3 snow emergency, the office is closed for the day. So even though I would usually work Sundays, I stayed home yesterday. Then today, the snow emergency got downgraded to level 2, but not until after noon, so the office is still closed.

My Saturday off has inadvertently become a 3-day weekend…

The apartment complex, rather inconsiderately, plowed in my car, and I’m not really able to shovel it all away myself because…y’know, disability.

So I’m trying to figure out how I’m going to get the car out of there to go to work tomorrow.
