It was only fairly recently that I learned that the lyrics in the bridge of “All Night Long (All Night)” are complete nonsense
Apparently Lionel Richie had asked a friend who worked for the UN to help him write “African” lyrics, and said friend was like “Man, you know there are hundreds of languages in Africa, right?”
So he just made up some gibberish and called it a day
This sounds like a bit Ms. Ravenswood would make up, but it’s true
