If they must, my one request is that they get Kath Soucie back as Lola /obligatory

But Kristen Wiig's portrayal was much, much better, though!

Although my complaints with Soucie's portrayal are more the fault of the writers, not Soucie herself.

Anonus thinks Kath Soucie's Lola voice is hot :P

    Well, kind of I guess

i kinda wonder what Soucie portraying the Wiig version of the character would be like.

i do maintain that Lola as she appeared in Space Jam was unnecessary and added nothing.  That's not Soucie's fault, she was just not a good character.  She barely had any character at all.

Lola was, originally, a product of the era when WB was at its most blatant about considering Looney Tunes a "brand"

That she's improved since then is good though
  • We can do anything if we do it together.
I really do hope that they don't revert Lola back to her characterization in the movie if they do this sequel.

Yeah.  Her new characterization is genuinely funny, which is what Looney Tunes should be.
  • ...And even when your hope is gone
move along, move along, just to make it through
    (2015 self)
    Yay!  Genuinely funny is good.

i should clarify that by "new characterization" i was referring to Wiig's portrayal, not to any new characterization she hypothetically might have in a Space Jam sequel assuming the film gets made and Lola is in it.

    Well

If LeBron can laugh at himself, I'm for it

And if they take a LEGO Movie-esque tack with it, I'm for it

And if it gets the public interested in classic animation again, I'm for it
