the Mario 64 soundtrack is a wonderland of 1980s sampler patches....sounds like mostly Fairlight stuff but there might be some D-50 in there too.

I always thought that a more subdued remix of the Bowser theme could be used as like a character theme for a secretive criminal or a spy.
