Paramount Sets CatDog Reboot For 2022

I'm hearing that Paramount has staked out June 10, 2022 for a movie based on the '90s Nicktoon CatDog. Hollywood is working quicker than expected to dig into the trove of half-remembered Millennial IPs in the hopes that Millennial filmgoers will introduce their own children to their generation's classics, no matter how fondly-regarded they actually are.

    I do notice that Hollywood hasn't been rushing to revive our generation's IP, at least not yet

    Probably because they don't own it unambiguously via work-for-hire arrangements or anything
