I actually like those designs, but making The Aristocats "hip" is, well, an idea worse than 8-track tapes

No matter how dumb Disney was in the last few years Eisner was running the show, they weren't THIS dumb.

I'm guessing something like "LaserDiscs" was what they were going for at first, but Disney said they couldn't use a brand name. So 8-track tapes were the next best thing.
