    ...They convey super pauses, like you use a comma to add a pause to your sentence like this, see, mentally you're supposed to pause at these commas...

    But Ellipsis is like a super pause... Like... try to read it all in a row now... You illiterate buffulao.

    I overuse ellipses when I'm RPing.

    They're a key symptom of sadness or other negative feelings with my (female) best friend.

    I've observed this, to the point where I've coined a term for it and call it "trailing", in a strange yet fitting connection to IRL speaking.
