Just played the demo.

Seems pretty rough but promising. The controls are smooth, albeit a bit slow when turning around after falling from a jump.

Would REALLY benefit from better music. If only the forest area had music like this...

And...

You MUST unzip the entire game including the external files and folders.

...there are people who don't?

...oh, right. Windows makes ZIP files act like folders, which is confusing. Dangit Windows, why do you have to do stupid things like this.

Well this is the first kickstarter I backed.

I was gonna back Shovel Knight but it was over before I got to it.

Everything else I've seen was either something I wasn't interested in or overwhelmingly going to be kickstarted anyway (we're talking 200% of funding target).
