wait a sec didn't Metal Gear Solid do something like that, where you're not supposed to shoot the enemies but you do anyway? And then like even bosses don't have to be damaged and you can just sap their stamina?
There's also the fact that bypassing the ninja guy was nigh-impossible because of all the enemies and most of my survival skill points going into weapons for that gun
The trick is to crouch and then press ZZZZC, that'll let you crack yourself and reallocate points to the other stats.
Of course, it still counts as a pacifist run as long as you have fewer than five kills per sector. You only need to avoid killing altogether if you want the Massacre.

I have not played Iji in a long time.
I used to kinda hate it but my opinions on it are more neutral now.
It does have lovely music though.
