I know season two is over, but more often than not the MLP:FIM thread is dominated by fan work, so I thought it would be nice to have a place to talk about the show itself.

    I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
    The presence of trains in the show is weird to me. Why doesn't a steam-powered train show up until season two? The only train in season one is pulled by ponies.

    Given that the train in season one appeared to have an engine, allow me to postulate that for that particular episode the engine was simply broken and the conductors were required to pull it by hoof.
